To date he has been involved with the development of the brand as well as developing a unique project that, at its heart explores the ideas of regeneration, time, beauty, transience and the notion of “vanitas” .

He has installed a giant photograph directly onto a concrete wall in the Kunsthaus Tacheles by means of traditional analogue processes and has a studio within the space in order to develop his technique. The dead flower arrangements morphed onto the concrete serve as a comment on development, progress, beauty and history and resonates more powerfully within this very historical space at the heart of Berlin.

McGlade was chosen as the brand artist for the FRAME building designed by HERZOG & DE MEURON incorporating bare concrete walls and big open spaces. There are 17 spaces within FRAME and McGlade will be installing 17 large scale still life arrangements directly onto the walls.

17 unique art books have also been made, each with a different motive photographically printed on a concrete plate and these form the final collection that will be installed within the FRAME building planned for 2022.
